Death penalty

             One day a man, named Darko, was sentenced to death by lethal injection, but was
             it the right thing to do. The death penalty or as some of us call it, capital punishment has
             been a controversial argument for many years dating back to the 60's. There are many
             people who report that the death penalty is very effective and should be kept and
             improved. On the other hand many people believe that the death penalty is inhumane and
             should be abolished. I believe that the death penalty should be used more often and more
             People always complain that there taxes go to useless government projects of
             some sort. The government uses our tax dollars to pay for the prisons and for the
             prisoners. Think we end up helping a convicted killer with no remorse for his actions live
             in the sanctions of the prison walls. We pay for him until he dies and if he is young and
             convicted for life, we are going to help him eat and sleep well for the rest of his life. No
             this cannot be. To think that our hard earned cash goes to this institution to benefit
             hooligans. Killing the convicts would be a lot cheaper and there would be no tax dollars
             funded to him. "The most comprehensive study of costs, done by Duke University in
             1993, concluded that the death penalty cost the country $700 million since 1976, but
             keeping the inmates well kept is well over that amount"(Staletovich). We are saving
             ourselves and the government money by annihilating the trouble makers. Is it cheaper to
             kill a man with injections or to pay for his room and meals for life, you be the judge.
             Our prisons currently are packed like sardines in a can. There are more people
             entering jails then leaving them, which creates a problem. When the prisons get to
             occupied the county is forced to create new jails and possibly interfering with surrounding
