             In "A Doll's House",by Nora demonstrated the roles of a good daughter, devoted wife and caring mother . All she did was what the male-dominant society expected. Nora became soft, childish and "care free" housewife. She even seemed to be delighted with her husband calling her with animals' names. It seems that Nora is like a doll controlled by Torvald. She relies on him for everything, from her movements to thoughts, like a puppet who is dependent on its owner.
