Well now your dream can be reality, you can make this delicious Caribbean cocktail drink on your own with just theses easy to do steps. You can find everything at your local grocery store, West Indian store and wine store.
             This Caribbean drink is mostly made around the holiday time. My family especially makes this drink around Carnival. This is a holiday in Trinidad that is celebrated for a week straight, playing of steel pan and calypso and also playing Mas in the street. But it is also made at Christmas and New Years. In our family we mostly make it in the afternoon, so it would be ready for the evening time when friends and family come to the house after a long day of partying and having fun in the sun.
             To begin you will need dark rum, the best rum to buy is a bottle of Trinidad's Old Oak or Barbados's Mount Gay rum, and you may also use Barcardi Gold. Please don't use white rum because it has no flavor or Jamaica Rum it has too much flavor, even thought some say different. To find Trinidad's Old Oak and Barbados's Mount Gay rum you will have to go to your local West Indian store.
             Then you will need to get sugar syrup or superfine sugar at your local grocery store. While you're out you take a trip to your local market, to pick up one large fresh mandarin (tangerine) and one large lime, the lime must be fresh. To make sure that the mandarin and lime are fresh ask when they where picked, if they where just picked buy them. The mandarin and lime make the drink, so make sure they are fresh, I can't stress that point enough.
