The more factor

             The power to gain and have more has always been a problem or a problem causer in human society. Its so hard to keep track of this because it takes place in different forms. Their are good and bad sides to it. They are from the gain of knowledge to the gain of territory and all they way from Hitler to bush attacking Iraq. Why are we never satisfied?
             When the pilgrims first moved to America they were just looking for a form of freedom away from Europe so they could practice their religion. They were then brought in and taught how to survive by the Native Americans. Not far after the Natives were kicked out of their land and their populations destroyed. Then after the people who kick out the natives are fighting among themselves for control of the land. This was not just a war about the land but about slaves in general and how they wanted to control their freedom so that they could make more money. We have always worked this way and probably always will.
             Money makes the world go round, and its not that by having money we acquire freedom but with the right amount we almost do anything. People don't like to have boundaries and that's why Americans have that concept of the frontier. The last time I looked on a map the United States stop at a certain point, but although this is true we have moved out of the country and extended our businesses all over the world. some how making a couple of millions in the United States just wasn't cutting it.
             In "The More Factor" they try to make it seem as if the Unites States is the only one doing this, but this is not true. The interest that people have in gaining more and more does not just in our country here, it happens everywhere. People don't want to have a limit on what they can do or how much they can spend. The idea of the frontier has gone from that to the American dream where you can possibly accomplish anything. Like anything theirs always a snatch, and its not that...
