evitably going to overlook important issues and waste the young people's time by asking pointless questions. If the questionnaire lacks a logical flow it may cause the young people to lose interest. Consequential, what useful data you may have collected could be further compromised. The problems of a poorly defined questionnaire do not end here, but continue on to the analysis stage. It is difficult to imagine identifying a problem and its cause, let alone its solution, from responses to broad and generalizing questions. In other words, how would it be possible to reach insightful conclusions if one didn't actually know what they had been looking for or planning to observe. With this I mind I wrote myself a clear objective and from this I hoped my questionnaire would naturally flow.

             Due to the fact that my research was inspired by the young people I worked with I felt that it was important to involve them in writing the questionnaire itself. By doing this I hoped to address all their main issues and concerns. Also by involving the young people I was able to ensure that the language I used was accessible to them. I used this method as aposed to carrying out a sample survey because I felt that this was a more appropriate approach in this instance. I used open ended questions when discussing the issues with the young people so as to be able to gather the most amount of information.
