First off let me just say that I love movies, action movies in particular. But it seems today that Action movies are filled with them same things over and over again. You basically have an impossible plot, A handsome looking hero who at times can do things that god himself would envy, a sinister Villain, and the trump card of all action movies – Big budget special effects. This doesn't make them bad, but at times it gets a little repetitive. Screenwriters know this all to well. The reason it flopped is a simple one, it's plot was virtually the same as the original whereas the only difference was that the main character, Ashe, played by Vincent Perez, had a son who was shot and killed alongside him by thugs instead of a girl friend, like in Eric's case. However, even though the movies plots almost identical, both Eric and Ashe, have several qualities that make them the only things in the movies that aren't repetitive
Will start with Eric. Eric is a young man, no more then twenty-five. He's the lea...
