             Many philosophers interpret and approach religion in various ways. Some arrive at their theories by logic, others experiment, some research, and finally, you have those who draw from personal life experiences. All in all, their purpose is the same; to give a better understanding of their philosophy and theory. Religion is a very sensitive subject matter to discuss. However, I will exemplify to you women who played a significant role in the creation of Christianity and their dissimilar approaches to the subject.
             First I will focus on a woman who brought a significant difference to the word Bible; Elizabeth Cady Stanton. Elizabeth Cady Stanton was born in 1815. An educated and very outspoken woman, Elizabeth spent majority of her life fighting for what she believed in. Her main goal was to enforce equality for all.
             Elizabeth began her journey to enforce equality for all by finding the root of the problem. She stated that African Americans would never be equal to other individuals because to slavery. She declared that slavery was the root, and that the only reason why slavery ever existed in America was due to the misinterpretation of the Bible and its' clergy. Secondly, Elizabeth felt that women would never have equal rights .
             Elizabeth went further to explain that she believed women had no authority or equal rights due to the Bible and Christianity. All Christian women were prohibited from voting, divorcing their spouse, taking birth control, having abortions, owning property,
             and even having equality. Later joined by Susan B. Anthony, and Anna Howard Shaw, Elizabeth quickly spread the message of women and equal rights as it relates to religion. Her thought was that if the Bible and religion was the floor plan for women, then women would neve
