Gilgamesh: falsehood within a truth

             The falsehood among truths in higher education today.
             There are many great written works in the World. Now for over 4000 years people have been writing. There main cause is to entertain or question the reader or to provide a record of human life and actions. I have read Gilgamesh and now realize that Gilgamesh is a truth within a falsehood.
             Gilgamesh does have truths such as human desire all men seek power, and prowess among other men. Most men would jump at the chance to have wild sex with a prostitute for days. This is man's nature to desire wealth and prosperity, along with power and command of others. Hitler desired power and wealth along with ethnic cleansing. Many people today desire power and wealth, yet are bound by morality and social acceptance and do not follow through with their desires. Gilgamesh also had control over women, most men did at the time, but to have the power to tell women who she can have sex with, is overwhelming.
             There is also fear with Gilgamesh his own people fear him. They reach out to their gods and ask for help. The gods respond by making a man who is equal to Gilgamesh and there is his fear. Fear or his own mortality, but wait Gilgamesh is part god which makes him immortal. If a man was a god and knew he was immortal why fear another man? Human insecurity is what makes us fear, people, change, and other ways of life. Fear drives many people today what their life would be like if they were able to conquer their fears. Try your own business or start taking yoga classes whatever you have a fear for you should get to know and grasp the concept of overcoming fears. This is what Gilgamesh did with the man who runs with the animals and the trip into the forest. Human nature fears us into our powerless hopeless day in day out world, but overcome those fears and we can control our own destiny.
