             is one to fit everybody's needs. The YMCA is also always trying to improve programs
             and offer new programs to fit the needs of this area. A few programs that are offered
             consist of a technogym, adult health and fitness, youth programs, and aquatics and swim
             lessons. Along with these specific programs the YMCA also offers special events to
             The YMCA offers many new programs. The Grant County Family YMCA Volunteer Club was established this year. There is always a need for volunteers at the YMCA. Volunteers are needed to coach T-ball, help with gymnastics or the many, other programs offered at the YMCA. Their contributions are vital and greatly appreciated. Volunteers play an important role in molding a young person's life in a positive way. They become role models to Grant County's youth.
             Prime Time Family Time is another new program. This is a once-a-month program. It brings families together for a time of fun and fellowship. Families need a break from their hectic schedules. Family activities, games, and snacks are provided during this time. Lots of food, folks, and fun make this a very popular event. Family fun is the motto for this program. Prime Time Family Time encourages families to turn off their television and spend time together.
             The Youth and Government program was developed to encourage youth to learn about local and national government. Meetings are held weekly with an area coordinator. The meetings consist of not only learning but also governing. Participants are eligible to take part in a mock legislation.
