Narative Story

It was my first day of college and I was just as excited as if it was my first day of school. It was funny I never imagined walking into my first class to be so exciting. I guess I did not know what to expect.
My first class was scheduled to start at 8:00 am sharp. I was there about five minutes before and I was really excited. I sat with the only people in the class I knew and strangely it seemed almost just like high school. Well, even though it was 8:00 our teacher was still not there, I was astonished. Being the first day of class I would imagine the teacher to be almost as excited as myself. Mr. Johnson walked in about five minutes late and rambled on about why he was late but I did not really care. He was probably the funniest teacher I have ever heard. He was a little to hyper for eight in the morning and it was very amusing. Then in what seemed like ten minutes, I had completed my first college class. It was such a wonderful feeling to have that one under my belt. Next was history.
I had a fifteen-minute break between classes, which for me, was confusing. For the last six years of high school, I was accustomed to having three minutes between each class. I liked the change, and it was nice to have that extra freedom. With a fifteen-minute break I decided to talk to some of my friends. It was weird having all this time, but then an even bigger change smacked me in the face. One of my friends said, "We should skip our next class". I was like no we can't; we would get in trouble. Then it all became much clearer to me. I was no longer in high school; I could actually skip any class and not get in trouble. In the end however, we decided to go to class but it was almost the same as the first, fast and to the point. At ten o'clock in the morning I was able to go home. It was the weirdest feeling to go home so early, but I had no complaints.
