A big move can be rough for anybody, especially a seven-year-old boy and his younger brother. This is an experience a boy named Chris had his brother Matt had to go through when they moved to Northern Kentucky. It was a big change because they had to leave their family and friends, but the hardest person to leave was their mom. Chris' parents had been divorced for almost three years and he and his brother had lived with their mother for that time. After a while Chris' father decided he wanted custody of the boys so he took their mother to court. That was a day that will stay clear in Chris' mind for the rest of his life.
             It was a warm sunny day in August and they were making the drive from Cincinnati, where their father currently lived, back to Owensboro, where there mother was. He started to ask them weird questions like " Do your mom and your step-dad fight a lot?" Chris and Matt were both totally caught off guard. They didn't know what to say. They knew that there was a lot of fighting and violence in the house but they didn't want to tell anyone. They both sort of played the line of questioning off and they went on with the drive. When they got into Owensboro they weren't sure what was going on.
             "There is mom's dad, you passed it" Chris said.
             "I know son, but we have to go do something first."
             Chris had no clue what was going on so he just sat back and thought about every possible situation, he could come up with nothing. They drove for a short while longer and they came upon the new building in town, the new courthouse. Chris asked his father what they were doing there and he told Chris that he had to talk to a judge.
             "About what?" Chris replied.
             "About where you want to live." said his father.
             "Do you mean I can come and live with you?"
