"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth."
             -This passage goes on, but I think this is the most widely recognized passage of the bible. It is a great opening that shows the power of God right off.
             -This was always a favorite stories. I had never read the bible before, so this was the first time I actually heard the original version.
             -Well, I have seen The 10 Commandments and The Prince of Egypt. So, just like Noah, it was interesting to read the actually story and see how it has been changed for the purpose of a entertaining story.
             "But Moses pleaded, 'O Lord, I'm just not a good speaker."
             I find this funny just because Moses really didn't want to be the one to be the one to speak in front of the Pharaoh. He even starts arguing with God.
             I never heard of there being so many of them. I remembered the Nile River turning to blood, the frogs, and the death of the first born son, but not the others.
             -This was defiantly one of the most boring sections of the bible so far.
             "These are the ancestors of Jesus Christ..."
             -Man I hate these listings of ancestors. That is what this passage made me think about.
             "Then Satan took him to Jerusalem to the roof of the temple. 'Jump Off,' he said, ' and prove that you are the Son of God; for the Scriptures declare, 'God will send his angels to keep you from harm,'...they will prevent you from smashing into the rocks below.'"
             -This is connected to a movie that came out recently called "Bless The Child." Although the movie was quite pathetic, now that I have read the bible some of the scenes make more sense.
