Ok To Dream

             Is dreaming damaging to your mind? Some say yes, however I say vehemently NO! Henry David Thoreau says and I quote, "Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you've imagined." If you don't have room to dream, and to go in the direction of your goals and dreams what are you going for? "The truth here is simple, when you ignore your dream by not turning it into a step-by-step goal, you miss out on your reason for living!"
             There are three main things that you need to think about when dreaming or going for your dream however....they are simple.
             1. Decide what you want to accomplish.
             Excuses get you no where! There is an excuse for everything, but are you going to use the excuses or are you going to work harder to achieve the dream you have in mind. Some excuses that are commonly used are; I'm too overwhelmed, I have too much to do (too many responsibilities), achieving my dream is unrealistic, my dreams are too outrageous, I don't have the time, money, support, ambition or skill to accomplish it. I would have to start my life over again, I may not be happy, but I'm comfortable with my life, I don't like taking risks. And the biggest one, I am too old.
             Situation now, this is a real life scenario, not a joke and it is a very serious matter. My father is now 39 years old, when we started this new adventure he was 38. My father has always had the dream of becoming a doctor, but he has always said, I can be happy doing this instead; but guess what, was he "happy" yes, but he wasn't really happy. In 1988 he could have applied for Medical School, but decided he could be just as happy doing something else; working for INEEL. In 1994 he again thought about going to Medical School, but said, no I have always wanted to own my own business so lets do that. W
