Andy waved goodbye to his parents as they went out for the evening. He had been home alone before but this was his first time at night. Although he wasn't afraid, he wasn't comfortable with the position he was left in. But he couldn't let on to his parents because he was proving he could manage home on his own to them.
He lived on the outskirts of the city with his friends living in the city, this made him feel a little worse. He walked upstairs, into his room and turned on the computer, and went on the Internet. Luckily for him his friend was online. They started to talk.
"What you doing tonight" James said
"Nothing Much, my parents are out and I am here alone"
"No, Better not" Andy replied
He carried on talking to him when suddenly he got a message from someone else whose name was Nightrider. He said to Andy
Andy was shocked at this as he had no idea who this was talking to him. Andy then replied saying "Do I know you?"
"No, I wouldn't think so"
Andy didn't reply. He was too afraid. Again Nightrider spoke, he said
At this point Andy felt sick. He had a feeling it was a friend, but the only friend he knew on the Internet was James. Andy just sat in shock when he heard a scraping noise downstairs. He didn't move or make a sound, when all of a sudden the scraping stopped and a dawn of silence filled the house. He didn't move in an attempt to be quiet. He then heard footsteps come up the stairs. As they made it to the top, he froze with fear. They got nearer the bedroom and the door creaked as it was swung open and to his surprise and relief it was only his dog, Butch. He had wanted out, but why?
