Hamlet movie

             In the movie Hamlet there is a great contrast in moods. Hamlet is very depressed, while his parents are extremely happy. Hamlet shows his depression in different ways. A physical way would be the way the sun burns on his face. He hasn't gone outside in a long time son the sun burns his face. Hamlet's mood of depression is exemplified by his surroundings. He is always in the dark, whether its hiding in the shadows watching others, Or following his father's ghost. There is a gloomy cloud over him. His parents Gertrude, and his uncle show great happiness. They have parties with out considering Hamlet. They bear smiles throughout the movie
             There is a lot of interaction between these moods. In example when the king , and queen speak to Hamlet there is a unmarked mood in the play. Hamlet has a lot of hatred for both of them, while they are happy and trying to start over. The moods crossover , but Hamlet's hatred is much stronger. Another interaction is Hamlet staring from the top of the castle to the party below. He has a lot of darkness and mystery surrounding him. While through this window another mood pops through of happiness.
