The House Disiscion

             An important decision for me was, when we were choosing a house to live in for the remainder of our time. My brother would one day move out, but this would be my parents' final house. It was not a light decision, as you see. My parents felt unless they could see themselves living there for the next 35-40 years the house would not do. For my brother Mike and me, we would have many more memories of the house, our children, family, and just a place to call a second home.
             One day we had a huge "family meeting." My parents of 19 years told me, Leo (13), and my brother Mike (17) that we would begin looking for a new house. Of course my parents were very calm and patient, for they knew there was a great chance we wouldn't find anything within our budget or that there "Critics personality" would make the whole search very stressful and difficult. The quest began and grew more stressful with every house we turned down and every decision we had to make that we knew would effect us in our future house.
             With all the other houses we examined my method was process of elimination. Was it big? Was my room big? Did it have a pool or room for a pool? Was it homey? Does it have lots of outlets/telephone outputs/cable? Did it have a big backyard? Does it look big when you enter and exit? Is there more than 2 exits? Were the windows positioned nicely? Did it have more than 1 guest room? Thing like that helped make my decision. The un-explainable happened. We walked into this model of a house. It was beautiful in and out. The kitchen was at least 20 feet long, and the family room was private yet public. But the two things that sold me to that house was that 1. I felt myself living in it, and it was brand new, Nobody cried in that house, smiled in that house, bled in that house, and overall, nobody "lived it."
