athenians and visigoths

             In today's society, there are two, very different types of people, Visigoth and Athenians. Not of course the ancient ancestors but they survive through us in ways which we conduct our lives. Many of us are Visigoths because we are natural-born Visigoths from the ancient time to today. There are certain characteristics of a Visigoth. First of all, they quest for knowledge only to earn money and gain power. Why do you suppose so many people want to be in professions of physicians, lawyers, athletes and acting. Well, they certainly make the most money in the world, so there should be many Visigoths in those professions. On the opposite side stands the Athenians. They have passion for knowledge, art and the well being of the community. They are also principled, well mannered, and have affection for the public affair. Religious people such as Christians fit this category.
             I believe that I am a true Athenian because I carry most of the aspects of a Athenian. I really have passion for knowledge. During my spare time, I read books and magazines not just because I want to be a smart person but because I enjoy it. Another reason that makes me an Athenian is that I love art. Whether I am scrutinizing a Picasso's art or enjoying the vast forest of the Yosemite, I take great enjoyment in art. My last reason that qualifies me as an Athenian is that I want to help the community. I have worked at the library, sang in the choir, and have joined clubs to do voluntary service. Also, just the fact that I am a Christian makes me an Athenian. As you already know, I have told you that Christians are Athenians. They fit to be an Athenian in all aspects.
             A person that I believe is an Athenian is Bill Gates. Although he gets many criticism that he is cynical and egotistic, he really is not like that. He really is a true Athenian. One reason that makes him an Athenian is that he has passion for knowledge. He was a maste...
