What the first day of school has in store for me is terrifying. I have to wake up in the morning to get ready. I have to arrive at school and get my schedule, and I have no clue where to get it, and if that not worst enough I have to find my old friends.
First, I woke up around 6:00a.m.to get ready for school because my bus arrives at 6:30am, and my parents are not willing to take me to school. I took a shower, brushed my teeth, and hair and dressed up in my Nautica clothing with my new Nike shoes. Grab my book bag and walked out of my house towards the bus stop. I didn't recognize anyone in my bus stop because I'm new to the neighborhood, probably most of the kids in my bus stop went to Northport Middle School rather the Dan McCarty Middle School but eventually these two groups of middle school kids will meet up in High School. I finally see a big yellow cheese-wagon (school bus) #336 coming towards us. I walked in the bus not knowing what to expect. I still don't recognize anyone in my bus; I saw an empty seat on the middle right hand side of the bus were I sat, not knowing that the seat was mine for the next three years.
Second, arriving at a new school is bad but entering high school is worst. Looking out the window of my bus I started to wonder how my first day of school is going to be like. I finally see Fort Pierce Central High School, the number 1 crowded school in the county with 2100 students and I truly believed that all 2100 were at school when I arrived. The school bus arrived at school at 6:55a.m. 15 minutes before the 7:10 bell rings. I walked out of my bus unto the pavement around the bus-loading zone; once I stepped out of the bus everything around me went so slow like time is slowing down for this moment. I'm looking around, wondering where to go and what to do. I see the signs
