             The changes in lady Macbeth show quite a few things. In the early Lady Macbeth she pushes her husband to kill by testing his man hood. Later on she lies to her friends saying that her husband is ill. And in Scene V, I she begins to feel dirty.
             Early in the story when Lady Macbeth hears of the prophetesses she has the taste of power on her mind and nothing is going to stop her from getting this power. She talked to her husband about treason, and he agrees to do it because Lady Macbeth constrained her husbands manhood.
             "You shall be what you have been promised. Yet I'm worried about your nature. You are too tenderhearted to take shortcuts. You want greatness. You are not without ambition. But you lack the ruthlessness that's needed. You want high office by righteous means. You don't want to cheat but you'd win unfairly. Great Glamis, you desire what calls for a great deed – yet you are too scared to do it, even though you want it to happen." --- Act one Scene 5
             This passage is where she tests his manhood by saying things such as you are too tenderhearted. She is saying this because she wants the power and does not care how Macbeth gets there.
             When Macbeth begins to see the ghost at the dinner table and stands up and yells at something that is not there. With Macbeth yelling the people around the table rise and say, "His highness is not well". Then Lady Macbeth shows her second Characteristic trait the lying.
             "Sit, good friends. My lord is often like this and has been since his youth. Please stay in your seats. The fit will soon pass. He'll be well again in a moment. If you take too much notice, you'll offend him and extend his fit. Eat up, and ignore him. [To Macbeth, angrily] Are you a man?"
