Don't Stand Too Close to a Naked Man – Tim Allen
Don't stand to close to a naked man is about Tim Allen's expression for the male mind, cars, women, and MORE power. Based on his antics in his show, Home Improvement, you would expect nothing but the best comedy he has to offer. In his book, he talks about men and why they are, the way they are. In the first few chapters, the main subject is growing up and getting used to the idea of 'I am male, she is female, and we like what we like, 'cause we want it.' This book goes from being a little kid and the tricks they play on people (especially girls), to a man being able to *burp* as loud and as long, as though to crumble a skyscraper.
I have many favorite parts of this book, but the one that stands out far beyond the others, is the chapter on, "Men's Zones." Want to find a guy? A 'men's zone' where women are not welcome, is the men's locker-room, because a lady showing up unannounced, can cause some major discomfort.
Tim Allen also writes about workshops and how they are built to fit the guy's personality and how much stuff he can display to show off to his friends. To suit a man's needs, a workshop needs many items. A Refrigerator filled with cold longneck beers and non-alcoholic beers for your buddies that can't drink any more. A water softener in the corner, the furnace, and the water heater spit-shined as though it was on display. And not to forget the tool bench with an AM radio and a T...
