             In the play Macbeth there are many things about the play that makes it a good play. The play mainly revolves around dissonance, and Mactbeth's dissonance throughout the whole play. There are many things that give Macbeth dissonance through the play but I am only gonna point out a few things. One of them was with the witches, another with not being chosen to be Prince of Cumberland. There are also many things he tries to do to deal with the problems. Also the results can be good or bad. I am going to talk about dissonance and what Macbeth did to try to fix his problems.
             The first problem Macbeth happened to have was the three witches. Although these three witches gave him guidance, he got guidance from them in a different way. The answers that the witches gave him were kind of like trick answers that had a kind of hidden meaning. They always gave Macbeth unclear answers so to speak, never really gave him exactly what he had to do. Macbeth never really understood what they were trying to say till the answer had come up right in front of him. Also, with him not being chosen to be Prince of Cumberland, that really made him mad because the Prince of Cumberland later becomes the king. Which he believed he really deserved. Especially since he thought that he does so much for his country and people.
             Well, I really don't know what he did to deal with the problem with the three witches. It seemed like everytime he got advice it didn't make since until the answer came out right in front of him, and when it did it was sometimes too late. Everything the three witches said made sense in the end when you looked back on it. Macbeth wanted so bad to become the Prince of Cumberland because he really felt that he deserved it. Also it was another way of gaining power to become exactly what he wanted to become. Which was to become king which happened later on in the play.
