Abortion

             Imagine if you were involved with someone and something, let's say a pregnancy, results from your actions. What would you do? Many women decide to go through and have the child. But there are some women who decide to have an abortion. What is an abortion? What are the emotional effects and the outcome on a women's life? Is abortion right? All of these questions run through a women's mind and through the minds of her family. Though there are many women who disagree with going through this painful process and would like to see it made into a constitutional amendment. Abortion is a women's constitutional right of choice, privacy and right over her body.
             What exactly is an abortion? The time that an abortion takes is only about 3 to 10 minutes. First the doctor gives the patient a shot of valium. This renders the patient unconscious and helps her to forget what happened. Then the doctor inserts a tube, as they use at the dentist, and suction out the fetus. Later, the patient wakes up and leaves "Unpregnant." It sounds painful and disgusting, but it is the choice that a woman makes.

             Imagine that you are the victim of a violent crime, such as rape or incest, and you became pregnant. Would you keep this child? In a year, 3% or 30,000 women out of the 1.6 million women who have abortions are caused by violent crimes. Just the thought of forcing a women to bare the child of a rapist or a molester is pure hell. Abortion is the option that many women choose. Though, many have caused a protest over the fact that you are killing a human being. A surprising statistic shows that 77% of the people (men and women) agreed that
             "Abortion should be left to the women and her doctor "
