What this regulation did was standardize such issues as serving size, make the information as legal as possible, and seek to give the shopper a basis for comparison. If a cereal that is being sold as healthful and nutritious turns out to contain a lot of fat, it will eventually be noticed.
             Ernest Dichter, a package designer and author claims, 'if one wants to act rationally, one must, at all costs, find a reason which makes the irrational seem rational'(Hine Pg. 209).
