The Increasing Needs of a Working Mother
             Life must change dramatically when a lacking income forces parents to successfully
             balance work and family. Increasing numbers in working mothers show both married and
             single mothers alike scrambling to equalize their parallel jobs of parenting and bringing
             home a paycheck. The growing population of working mothers create the increasing need
             for child care subsidy, quality child care and flexibility in the workplace.
             It is increasingly difficult to obtain financial help from the Government, just ask the
             average mother. There is a limit to how much a family can bring home before child care
             subsidy becomes unavailable. When a husband is bringing in a paycheck the chances of
             receiving assistance are diminished. It seems as though the unemployed parents are the
             ones who reap the benefits, therefore, a working mother must be able to pay the daycare
             bills. The higher quality child care centers are also the higher cost centers; the expense
             would put a substantial dent in the paycheck; there must be enough of an income to
             compensate. If the standards for subsidy were lower, more mothers would see the worth

             qualified daycare will undoubtedly be expensive. Reputable child care centers are hard to
             afford and find. Parents with full subsidy will take advantage of these daycares, naturally
