             Every type of person is going there, mostly men giving up everything and hoping going to find gold.

             If they do then they can strike it rich and become millionaires! But many men aren't striking it rich and ending up poor on the street. Miners aren't the only people on their way to Francisco. Since so many people are going to San Francisco many entertainers are going there too because the miners and their families need entertainment. Many acting troupes are going to San Francisco to open theaters where they can have many plays and make a lot of money. It has been rumored that one ticket to a good theater play has been auctioned off for $10,000! So many acting troupes have been on a journey across America to find riches in San Francisco- but not by finding gold, but building a theater.              plays, so it was just what they always did, traveling from town to town but
             they were going west as they did it. But by traveling west all the people are taking a major risk because it's very dangerous. Traveling these days is very dangerous because there are many bandits and the roads are uneven and dangerous. It is very treacherous because the wagons can easily tip over and cause major injury or death. If you get sick while on the trip it is dangerous and easy to die. Many people have died because while on the trail there is rarely a doctor
             on the trail. While on the trail it is not an uncommon thing to see grave all along the way. Sometimes you would see around fifty graves in one day. But if you made it to San Francisco and made it rich then you can live your dream and buy whatever your heart desire...
