There are three basic supplies needed for the changing of the diaper. The main and most important supply is the diaper. The size and style of diaper needed, depends on the size and age of the baby. Baby wipes are not necessarily needed, but are recommended to further cleanse the baby. The third basic supply is the powder. Baby powder is used to eliminate any types of rashes that might occur due to the daily wear of the diaper. Other supplies might be uses in different cases; such as oils and ointments.
             When changing a babies' diaper always make sure that the area is safe and sanitized. Never put the babies' life in danger. After a secure destination is found, lye the baby down on his or her back with it's legs facing the front of your body. At this time the removal of the babies clothes that are cover the diaper will take place. Place the clothes to the side, out of the reach of the baby. To begin removing the used diaper find the two sticky tabs that holds the diaper on. You will find theses tabs on opposites sides of the diaper near the hips of the baby. Once you have located the tabs begin to carefully pill the tabs off one at a time to prevent any ripping. When the tabs are completely pilled off the diaper should unfold from off the top of the babies stomach. You will notice that the baby is still lying on the bottom half of the diaper. Simply grab the babies feet with your dominate hand while lifting the legs upward just enough to raise it's rear-end about an inch from !
             the changing area. With your free hand slowly pull the diaper from underneath the baby. At this point the baby should still be in the upward position. Before laying the babies legs down fold the back and front ends of the diaper together. This should cover up the waste inside the diaper.
