             Building Trust-Does it Fly-Dave Gilbert
Dave Gilbert who is President of Golin/Harris International since 1997 was a speaker on Tuesday March 14 during Journalism Week. During his speech on Tuesday he talked about and trust and how he has experienced it over the years. One of his experiences on trust is when he went on a trip in the woods. While he was on this trip he explained how he had to cross a river, which was 40 feet long, and he had to pass it with a girl blind folded. This is a good example of trust because the girl who was blind folded trusted Dave to show her the way across the river. He also said that a few years later the girl in whom Dave guided said that while she was applying for colleges she had to write an essay on trust. She explained to him that she wrote about the experience they had on the trip.
Dave Gilbert also explained that trust is belief, faith, and what you do for excellence. He also said that Golin/Harris International is always based on trust because they have fidelity to clients. There are people who Dave can count on in his job. Another thing Gilbert said was that his company has a quote in which they go by and it is that, trust has to be the core of all relationships. Golin/Harris International hasn't changed their trust. The company which lacks trust is a business killer in success. He then said that reliable companies who have trust usually win in the business areas. In the business mind trust is usually the process and the outcome in having success in companies.
In conclusion, Dave Gilbert's speech was surrounded on trust and on how business should have this in order to have a good career in any companies
