French and Indian War

The French and Indian War started by France and Britain were rivals to build a world empire and to take the New World over would make one of the countries very rich which would lead to money. Another factor was bitterness towards each other from the Hundred Years War which was between France and Britain, which was never won because France was physically drained and Britain was financially drained so the war just died out.
The reason Native American sided with the sided with the France is because they are trading partners and the Native Americans had bad blood with they British over land, Pequot War and how the British fought which is to kill the defenseless people who were running away.
The First battle was against a small militia led by a young ambitious George Washington who took some French prisoners, but the French quickly retaliated and defeated George Washington's militia. This gave the French a very powerful start to the war.
The British figured out that if they take the Ohio Valley they would become very strong. They gave this task to Edward Braddock who took a large army to one of the strong holds called Fort Duquesne he took it and switched power to Britain. This lead to the Iroquois joining the British and under the leadership of William Pitt the British took a large army and started winning many battles. In 1759 William Penn took his army to take Quebec and they did this use the last straw for the French and the British won the French and Indian War.
In conclusion the French and Indian War was a war in which people took sides and either won or lost. Also the British won and that set up the future to to what it is today,
