Key Employees' and Job Descriptions
The owner/manager of Sandmunky Snowboards is Piroose Amini. Everyday duties will include many important tasks. Most important is to be sure the store and everything in it is up and running correctly. Then, I need to check all employees and how their work is progressing, so the store can be certain all customers are helped. Lastly, are all the little necessities, such as an orderly store, employees available at work, equipment stocked, and the shoppers are happy. The owner/manager is also responsible for all financials, and to see that they are going well. Also, to make sure all outside help, (accountants and delivery services) are doing their jobs properly and correctly, so my store can run and go accordingly.
The supervisor(s) of the store, Sidney Gillespie, will have some of the basic duties of the manager. He will be accountable when the owner/manager is unavailable (absent from store). As well as making certain all employees are doing their job, in addition to functioning as manager when the original manager is busy with other tasks at hand. The supervisor is one of the most essential positions at the store. The business will not be capable of running without a manger. Therefore, the supervisor needs to be obtainable, when a manger cannot be.
The position of a floor clerk is the only one for the time being. These people will be required to know how to run the register (to ring up their customers). Which means they must meet and greet all potential customers that walk through Sandmunky Snowboard's doors. Floor clerks will also help them clean the store every night and help open every morning. Other little things include counting the register's daily money, repairing snowboards, watching the fitting rooms, and pick up lunch for the rest of the employees'!
