As I sit here poundering over the words in front of me I am left with nothing but a bad taste in my mouth. I feel an overwhelming feeling of sadness for this young woman. Teena Renee brandon's story shocked me. She was raped and murderd just because she was sexually confused. Dont get me wrong Teena wasn't a saint she had her scandolous side to her. I really believe though that she did those things to express herself in a way that she only understands.
             Teena was also raped as a child. So mabey that can justify her actions. Teena like many other people in this world are constantely critisised and teased for their misunderstood sexuality. Teena potrayed herself as a man. In relationships Teena would pose as a man and have relationships with quite a few girls for a decent amount of time. I would ask myself over and over again how could they not know that Teena or rather Brandon was not a man at all, but a woman. As I read on she would tell the girls that she was a hermaphrodite, and she was soon to go in for her operation to become a complete man. Maybe it was to late at that point for her partner to disagree and get mad. There was a statement that a girl she was seeing said in the article " I depended on having Brandon in my life so much, " Heather said. " No matter what sex he turned out to be ". It was too late because at that point she was in love. Personaly I think that Teena toyed with the girls men!
             tally and emotionaly, because what I forgot to mention is that most of them were in their teens and she was twenty-one. She lied and sometimes even cheated, but Teena was loved by the females, who thought she was a man or something like that.
