There are many scenes throughout the movie where the characters make smart remarks when it comes to relationships. The movie is based on a couple that go to two different schools, one in Texas and one in New York. One sees the relationship as very important and the other sees it as not important. It is a great look at how the society we live in today feels about commitment and trust. If the world lived in this way there would be a lot more problems to deal with.
