Nonverbal communication, in my experience, is anything that people do or do not do to express themselves to others, as well as what comes out when they try to conceal themselves from others. Nonverbal communication interested me because it has always been a key part in my life and it has and will continue to be an inevitable part of it in the future. The reason I say that nonverbal communication is inevitable is because whether or not I want to use it, I still do. There have been many instances where I wished that I had complete control over my nonverbal communicators. I would have been saved from trivial confrontations with friends and family as well as avoiding scuffles with strangers. However, on the other hand, without my nonverbal communicators I would have missed out on countless opportunities, exciting times, and meaningful relationships.
             Nonverbal communicators consist of any body parts, along with the demeanor in which we use these body parts to purposely or unconsciously to send a message. These bodily movements are formally known as kinesics. Another form of a nonverbal communicator is touch, which is known as haptics. Touch communication occurs first in a human beings life; in the mother's womb the child kicks or punches the inside of the mother's stomach in order to communicate with her in some way. As the child develops throughout life, the meanings of touch develop and are used more frequently to portray many different meanings. Among the many meanings, there are five major ones.
             Through touch, positive feelings toward another person may be sent, such as support, admiration, inclusion, or sexual attraction.
