             Nina and Richard is a loving couple and both of them are movie fans. Sometimes they both enjoy going to see one movie,but at times they have disbute over choosing which movie to see. Men and women have preferances on many things and they share some in common while vary a lot in other aspects. Women and men's preferances in choosing movies is among them,which can mainly be shown towards genres,stories and music of movies.
             Women and men's preferances in movie genres share some common ideas,but also have a lot of differences. It is not difficult to find that a movie of mixed elements is always popular. For instance,a classical genre of war and love affairs such as Casabalanca. This kind of movis cater to the taste of both men and women,but generally speaking,men are stable,stronger while women are sensitive and sweeter,so men's taste are still much diverse from women's. Action,adventure movies which are energetic ,exciting,stroner such as 'Terminator'are therefore men's favourite. In contrast,women usually choose romantic movies which mainly concerns passion,emotion and affection such as 'When Harry met Sally'.
             The story part also reflects men and women's preferances in choosing movies. Some stories which are catching,classical and original attract both men and women for it's part of human's nature to like this kind of stories. For example 'Lord of the Rings'demonstrateded a magical and mysterious story and it turn out to be a great success. However,there are still some differences. Some romantic stories such first-sight love and forbidden love often drew much more attention from women as they bring great fantasies to women's imafinative and creative minds.The fary like storis such as'Legends of the Fall'in which a beatiful and moving picture is depicted are women's first choice of movies.
