Latin America-Popicatepetl

In a small area of Mexico, there is a community made up of farmers called Cuilotepec, who produces crops of corn, beans, and chili. Next to this, lies a volcano called Popocatépetl, which as suddenly started to shower ash, started to stir and started to shake this area. About 20 million people live within 50 miles of Popocatépetl, and many of these, including the people of Mexico City have already felt the ashes.
At the very foot at the volcano are approximately 100,000 people living in village's life Cuilotepec. They would likely targets to have mudflow as well as be showered with rocks as big as footballs and clouds of hot gas and ash.
Since volcanoes are unpredictable, it is safe to assume that an eruption today would be quite harmful and destroy many lives in the area. It is because of this that the mayor and officials of Cuilotepec have come to practice safety in case of a need to evacuate occurs.
The townspeople know how to get themselves and their vehicles to the town square at the sound of an alarm over the loudspeakers at city hall. That takes half an hour. In 15 minutes the vehicles could be loaded and on their way.
The villagers are hard to convince of the danger in case the Popocatépetl should erupt. Because of few resources, there is a limit to how these people approach things and they also lack formal education. People are will to risk their lives and live near the volcano.
These villagers believe that by performing ceremonies to god and ask him to look after the land, and pray for water that they will be safe. Officials want the villagers to be prepared to evacuate but they also have to be willing to accept some of their old ideals as well.
