I say this, because right now it looks as if you are in a period of shared government, or executive co-operation. What this is, is a situation where two or three individuals share joint decision making responsibilities. I assume that this is the model that describes your presidency for a few reasons. First, you are in a period of cohabitation. This means that the prime minister is not from your party. So to right off the bat you are going to have problems trying to impose your ideas through a leftist prime minister. Now on top of that issue it appears that you have lost the support of your own party. The party that you started is now being lead by Philippe Sequin. Although shared government usually has three official leaders, I still assume that this is the best model to describe !

What you have to do if you want to regain the support of your party and get re-elected is gain the support of Michele Alliot-Marie. You and her have to have a good relationship and work together to reunify the RPR. You need to do this so that you become the leader of your party again and move away from a type of shared government.
