Students today are the future tomorrow. In my belief, a model student consists of
four categories: following the rules, being on time, participating, and quality work. A
model student follows the rules and basic expectations that a teacher requests. At times,
the boundary of an assignment should be crossed because the work of a model student
should be above the average and original. I am a model student because I push myself
Rules are made to be followed. I do all that I can to follow each and every rule for
individual classrooms, though some may be absurd and unfair. I'm a bird trapped in a
cage and without rules I would be able to spread my wings and fly. I am able to find my
way around a rule, but breaking the rules mean consequences and less freedom. "A

Being on time is as important as wearing proper clothes to school. I may be late to
class occasionally, but not intentionally. When I am tardy, I make sure I have not missed

Participation is also a big necessity in being a model student. I am not a big
fanatic in participating, but I feel that I fulfill the requirements. "A significant portion of

worksheet) I carefully listen to the teacher's instructions and lectures with my full
attention and respect. I am involved with the class like being a part of a team.
