In today's world education is an essential part of pursuing a good career. Education is not a gift that's easily received, but the most powerful tool that needs to be built and developed. Some of the key strong factors in building and developing a solid education are preparation, a combination of motivation, and support from those around you. Another strong factor that is commonly degraded is what kind of role education plays in society. Education provides people with many opportunities, such as greater knowledge, a path to their career goal, a successful family, but most importantly a pathway to options, security and power. It is hard to obtain knowledge, but everyone needs this tool to accomplish all of the goals that they have set out for themselves.
             Even though education cannot be given to someone as a present for their birthday, there are many things that can be given to a person by people around them that will provide the motivation and support for the person to get the most out of education, most importantly the desire to learn. Perhaps, the best thing that can be given to a person is support from parents, starting from when a person is born. When a person is very young, education seems like a punishment to them, or something they absolutely have to do to please their parents. But if raised right, children start to realize that they are not learning for their parent's sake, but for their own. I remember when I was really young I did not understand why my mom kept on telling me, "You are learning for yourself, not for me or anyone else." At that point of my life I did not make much sense of why I need to go to school every day and do all my homework and even complete the extra assignment that my parents would give me at home.
