             In 1890, he had his first poem published ,"La Noche Triste" and a second one,
             "The Song of the Wave." He then passed his preliminary entrance examinations for
             Harvard College. Also he meet and fell in love with a student named Elinor White. He
             becomes engaged to Elinor. Depending on his grandparents for financial support, he then
             entered Dartmouth College instead of Harvard because it is cheaper, and his grandparents
             blamed Harvard on his fathers drunkenness. He stayed less than one semester and leaves
             Dartmouth because he was bored with the college life and was restless. Returning to
             Massachusetts, he worked as a school teacher and worked in a mill and as a newspaper
             In 1894 he sold "My Butterfly: An Elegy" to The Independent, a New York
             literary journal for fifteen dollars. Frost then worked as a reporter in Lawrence for Daily
             American and Sentinel(Ketzle p.2). Also at this time he taught at Salem district school.
             Then on December nineteenth, 1895, Frost married Elinor White in Lawrence and on
             September twenty fifth of the next year his first son was born, Elliot.
             Then Frost passed the Harvard College entrance exam and borrowed money from
             his grandfather and entered Harvard College as a freshman. A couple years later he
             withdrew from Harvard and left without a degree. Then on April 28th 1899, his daughter
             Leslie was born, and his mother found out she had advanced cancer.
