             When Hitler started to come to power the German nation as a whole was in shambles. After the treaty of Versailles it had been determined that Germany was completely at fault for the first World War, and thus was forced to pay huge reparations, along with forfeiting much of their lands as collateral for there actions in the war. Following this was the great depression, which caused hyperinflation and virtually destroyed the German economy and the spirit of the people. Hitler attained power in 1933 as a result of a very complex set of factors. He first was the right man for the job to take advantage of the problems that had arisen in the post war years. This hyperinflation caused many Germans to loose all of their savings as well as faith in democracy. The people in Germany were upset and looking for a way out of their harsh times. Then the Nazi party came along and possessed the policies that the German people wanted to hear. Hitler offered the easy answer for Germany's proble!

             Hitler's skills as an excellent orator had nearly all of Germany in his back pocket. Now it was time to show the world that he had the power to control all of Europe, and decimate all of its enemies. To due this Hitler needed to establish a powerful military that would not only rival, but also eclipse that of Britain, France and Russia. To due this Hitler was very fortunate because of the fact that he got to rebuild the armed forces from the ground up due the Treaty of Versailles and the fact that essentially all of the German arms were destroyed in the first world war. This said, Hitler then started to put in place all of the tools that he believed were needed in order to reunite the German populous along with taking over all of Europe.
