Like everyone since the beginning of time, I've been taught from the moment I was born to now by my loved ones and environment. I have known memories of childhood before the age of five. I think that for the first years of my existence like everyone else, I was taught by my mom, dad, and brother, how to walk, talk, and basically the very first thing necessary to learn; in order to develop into an individual.
As time went on, I do recollect memories of pre-kindergarten back in my native country, Mexico. I do remember the lessons about adding and subtraction, playing with other children, and coming home crying. As nonetheless, as I got older these shady memories were replaced by details recollection. My baby sister was born, at this time I was living already in the United States. I noticed by the age of 8 the major differences between English and Spanish more than before.
Furthermore, as I grew I began to learn in school the essential subjects in order to get around in the world such as: arithmetic, science, English, history etc. However manners, values, and rules of behavior, my parents as well as my older brother were my mentors. Nonetheless, my classmates, T.V., and environment, on the subjects of dressing, music, and what I would consider cool or un-cool, also influenced me.
In conclusion, it's the clear and pure truth to say; that my family is my center of knowledge. That friend and my surroundings have influenced me at a materialistic level and that school is my main source of education.
