             I have a great fear of being violated or victimized by others. This fear is very real to me because there have been reoccurring acts of violence around me or to me. I have been battling with this fear for a long time. I am dealing with it the best ways that I can, and now I am going to use my imagination to envision a successful solution to my problem.
             The main cause for my fear and anxiety is the fact that I got jumped about a year ago. This was a very traumatic experience for me. I was at 7-11 and got attacked by a group of five people younger than me. I was totally helpless and got the crap beat out of me. They took my watch, my necklace, and my faith in the goodness of people. Just a short while after that occurred; my twin sister got mugged, along with my grandma. I am having a very difficult time getting over my fear of violence because of these events. I now suffer from anxiety and stress problems.
             I find myself getting scared at a lot of times where I know I wasn't before the incident and at times where I look back and know I should not have been. Whenever I leave school and have to walk to the parking lot alone, I feel like someone is coming up behind me to attack me. Sometimes when I am alone in a room with someone I might even know, I all of a sudden get scared that they might turn on me and do something crazy. I also especially get scared when I am alone and I have to walk past a group of people. These are normal, everyday occurrences that I used to be able to do, and I really want to be able to get over my fears and not be afraid anymore.
             Senses and memory are what make up your imagination . Because of my experience, the terrified feelings that I felt at the time come from my memory and are triggered by my senses.
