I chose to do a field hockey survey to see how many people were actually interested in having this sport at our school. Not only because of that, but because I would like to make a point that we should have our field hockey team back at the school again. I beleive that whoever is interested to support or even play could help start the field hockey team and help out with fundraising to get the uniforms and equipment needed. I have hope that if this survey could go well I could take it to the next level and go talk to Mr. Curry or Mr. Walk about it and the interests of the people. I think it would be good for girls to join because it could keep people out of trouble and definitally in shape!
             In my survey I asked if people would support the team if we had one to see how many people would actually help support the team. I also asked if the people would help do fundraisers with us so we could buy uniforms and equipment needed. Also, so I could get an idea if the person would actually join the team and go to practices I asked if they already participated in any sports and if so what they participated in. Therefore, I would get a good sense to whether they could commit or not.
             Overall, I really think that my idea would work. The reason for this is because a lot of the girls said they would join and or support or even do both. Also, most of the guys said they would support the team if we had one. Not only that but the majority of the girls circled yes to doing a fundraiser and the same went for the guys. With all that support from everyone, even people that aren't playing, we could raise enough money in no time to get uniforms and equipment needed. Also, a majority of the girls circled yes to joining the team and most of them already have been committed to other sports, which is a very good thing. Also, both male and female majorities circled yes to field hockey being a good addition to our school programs.
