Although this may all sound great steroids are harmful with many horrible side effects, and may lead to death.
The biggest concern among male weightlifters who want to enter competition, is that Anabolic Steroids change the body's chemicals and produces hormones in the body that alter the overall appearance of the athlete. The human body naturally produces testosterone and estrogen. The more testosterone the more estrogen will be produced. This may cause Gynomastia. Gynomastia is where a male begins to feminize. This only occurs in men.
Excessive levels of testosterone can be converted into estrogen and will encourage the growth of female breasts. Also fatty deposits and extremely soft muscle's (after using steroids). The reduced size in testicles, impotence and a low sperm count.
Though steroids were believed to cause baldness they don't, however if you are going bald or will one day be bald steroids may only speed up the process. Steroids convert themselves into DHT's which is what causes baldness. Another external side effect is changes in the skin. The pours in the skin will become larger and this will make the skin feel rougher. Also they may cause severe acne in women and in men. One last skin side effect is stretch marks on the skin, caused from rapid muscle growth.
