As science and technology has progressed over the years, it seems to have caused dilemmas; intruding on ones moral and religious beliefs. Society is getting caught up in the glamour of achieving capabilities God was only once qualified to do. So where do we draw the line? Is it going to far when we assist in anothers suicide, changes the sex of their baby based on personal preference, or contributes to one's addiction by passing out paraphernalia?
             Suicide is morally wrong in itself, it's even more wrong to do so with assistance, involving another human being in an immoral act. Because of the way the field of health has evolved, there's no way to be sure what the outcome of an illness will be or what medicine might emerge in the cure of a disease. You never know what new technology may enable us to get better. It's one thing when we use our science and technology to contribute to the health and well being of a person but when we go as far as taking a life into our own hands, we're crossing the line. Making such a decision as assisting with suicide, you put your morals on the line, you may make a decision that you might possibly regret. That is why such a decision is not meant to be ours. God is the only one who should have the right to decide when our time on earth is up, when we've completed our purpose on earth. Suicide is the one unforgivable sin, whatever way it is accomplished.
             Just recently it's been possible to change the gender of a baby through genetically separating the DNA, thus enabling a couple to choose the sex of their baby. Having a preference on a baby is all good and well, if your just thinking it, but acting on it is going over the line. Your making a selfish decision, creating a human on your personal preference. Your taking away a life that was meant to be lived in the way that God created it. There's reasons for everything, including the sex of a baby. ...
