Earth Day

The dictionary's definition of the word respect is "to regard, to relate to, to honor,
to have consideration for". In the world today it appears that the word and it's meaning
has become obsolete. Total disregard for life, both for man and his planet, has caused
destruction in the air that we breathe, that water that sustains all life forms, and the plants,
trees, and animals that exist today. Such lack of consideration can be seen in men raping

over use of many natural resources has all but destroyed the ozone that protects the earth
from the radiation. You hear the excuse "everyone does it, so I'm only one. I can't make
a difference". Every great feat in life began with the first step. If each one of us have
respect for the environment, we can make a difference. It can begin with respect for our
brothers and sisters in the world wide family, respect and appreciation for the Earth an...
