             Pablo arrived at the church alone. It was Saturday, and Pablo's best friend, Miguel was getting married to Lupe. Miguel had just turned thirty six and was in love. She was only eighteen, very attractive, and somewhat flirty but Pablo was not sure that she truly loved Miguel. With a nineteen year difference, Pablo could not help but doubt their "love." Yet he knew that if it were he in Miguel's place he would be getting married too.
             The ceremony lasted forty-five minutes and then the rice, the pictures, and the congratulations. As usual, many of the families invited did not have transportation so Pablo, being the gentleman he was, volunteered his car. He ended up taking one of the families that had been invited, which consisted of the grandfather, grandmother, two young girls, the husband and wife. The husband, Luis was about Pablo's age. During the ride over they talked. Talking, Pablo found out a lot about Luis's family. He found out that the grandparents had been married for 50 years, his wife was was a teacher and was the bride's friend, and that his two young daughters were in high school, Adriana, the youngest in 9th grade and Liliana in 12th grade. In that moment that Luis was talking to Pablo about his daughters, Pablo looked casually through the rear view mirror and for an instant lost all notion of reality. He found himself with the innocent and attentive gaze of two intense green eyes.!

             Minutes later they arrived to the hall where the reception was to take place. It was an elegant place with chandeliers and roman pillars all around the hall that resembled the swimming area of Hearst Castle.
