and criticism for Milgram and his findings were staggering, his experiment was claimed as "non-ethical" and falsefiable and it provoked many commentaries and follow up experiments. In this paper, I would like to discuss three of those follow ups and assess the angles that each experiment takes, correlating their findings to those of Milgram.
             An experiment by Sackhoff and Weinstein assessed the effects of self-inflicted harm on obedience to an authority figure. Since the Milgram study resulted in the conclusion that subjects will inflict harm to obey an authority figure, Sackhoff and Weinstein designed an experiment to test if subjects will inflict harm only to a third party or will obey to the authority figure even if the danger extended to harm them.
