Compare and Contrast

There are many differences between dogs and cats. Some are obvious and some are not. You may have to look harder to find them, but there are many of them there.
The first major difference between dogs and cats are that most dogs are bigger. Almost any dog can take a cat, unless it is a wildcat and has big teeth. Dogs are usually stronger. Most dogs eat dog food, but when undomesticated they ate meat from various small animals like mice and rabbits and squirrels. Cats eat cat food when domesticated, but their natural diet is made up mainly of mice and other small rodents.
Another difference between cats and dogs is their face. A dog's skull is pointed at the nose, and cats have a more rounded nose. Dogs have a very good sense of smell, but cats make up for that difference by their keen sense of sight. Cats can see at very long distances under very low light conditions.
There are also some similarities between cats and dogs. They are both domesticated and they both have the same patterns of fur over their bodies. Both cats and dogs are fully covered in hair, with few exceptions.
The many differences and similarities between cats and dogs. Once you look closely, you should see them all.
