In the movie, The Great Gatsby, the main character is determined to
             obtain what he has longed for in a long time. This character is Jay Gatsby, he
             wants Daisy's love, something he knows belonged to him a long time ago.
             Because of their social status they couldn't be together. Daisy was a rich girl
             that certainly couldn't marry a poor guy like Jay Gatsby. As time passed,
             Gatsby's desire for Daisy grew bigger and stronger. It showed that he wanted to
             He worked hard and gained riches in order to reach her economic
             standards. Gatsby was sure that he could capture his dream with wealth and
             influence. He believed that he acted for a good beyond his personal interest,
             and that should guarantee success. But once he was settled she was already
             taken. Even though he knew that she was married, he decided to talk to her and
             meet her. She gave him hopes of one day being together with him but they
             never came true. His desire to relive the past, to be with her, to have his dream
             come true, were the ones that brought him early death.
             He was so caught up trying to realize his dream that he didn't hear when
             other people like Nick told him that the past couldn't be relived. Nicks words
             were true, the past cant be relived because everything in it passed already and
             now we have to look forward to what the future and the present brings us.
             Gatsby instead was living according to the old memory of his love with Daisy, to
             what he though existed but really didn't anymore. He pushed himself to do crazy
             things even to take the blame of Myrtle's death to save his "love," Daisy.
             But we can see that Gatsby acted innocently to all this things. All he was
             doing was following his dream something we often do too. His vision was
             blinded with what he remembered about the past and with what he wanted the
