The Bateman competition, I would have to say that the Bateman competition was perhaps the most exciting and most difficult project I have had at the University of Hartford. The work that went into this project from the entire class was absolutely tremendous. When you told me there was a lot of work to be done with this project I really didn't believe you, I told myself that this would be an easy project, boy was I wrong. Right from the start there was a tremendous amount of work to be done by everybody and it needed to be done quickly and efficiently.
             From our very first meeting it became evident to me that this was going to be a very difficult and very exciting class. During my first two PR classes I really didn't feel that this work would be to difficult, but when I seen all the work that had to done for this project I knew it would be hard. The first thing was the interviews; in previous classes we just found someone and interviewed them, this time we needed specific interviews. I think that most challenging group was the state legislators, it was very difficult to find someone who had the time to let us interview them. The person that I interviewed was on the school committee in my town. Getting this interview was somewhat difficult on the time frame that I had to work on, but with a little convincing I got him to agree. I didn't think he would have much to say on the subject, but listening to him talk made me think differently. I think that interviewing politicians was a good idea because it brought some credibility t!
             Perhaps the most fun of this entire campaign was our events that we held Money Gras, Valentine Auction, Grilled Cheese and the Wine and Cheese. Each one of these events was very well organized by our class.
